The Auxiliary of Hillel Lodge is delighted to share the remarkable success of our 3rd Annual Great Games Event (GGE)! In our 60th year of dedicated service, this year’s event drew a sold-out crowd of 200 enthusiastic participants and achieved an extraordinary fundraising milestone—$10,000 more than last year—through general attendance, our silent auction and raffle, table sponsorships, and individual generous donations.
The GGE was supported by 98 prize donors, 45 table sponsors, and the exceptional leadership of our Diamond Sponsors, Tracy and Cindy Hartman, as well as Gold Sponsor Jenna Roundell of Roundell Wealth Management. The annual spring telethon was also very successful and the combined amount recently provided to CEO Ted Cohen was $110,000, a record year for the Auxiliary.
These funds will have a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of the Lodge’s 121 residents—refurbishing living rooms, supporting enriching activities, celebrating important milestones, and advancing vital projects not covered by government funding.
An event of this scale is only possible thanks to our devoted volunteers, some of whom began planning for next year the very next day. The 4th annual Great Games Event will be held on Sunday, October 18th, 2026.
This year’s GGE was held In Loving Memory of Sheila Hartman, honouring the legacy of a beloved Auxiliary volunteer of more than 20 years. Her daughters, Tracy and Cindy, chose to become Diamond Sponsors as a heartfelt tribute to their mother’s dedication and passion.
