Family Council

The Family Council is an organized, self-led, and democratic group made up of family members and significant individuals in the lives of residents at Hillel Lodge. The Council’s mandate is to provide assistance, information, and advice to residents, their families, and those who are important to them.

The Family Council plays a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by fostering collaboration and open communication between families and the home’s management. By sharing insights and experiences, family members can advocate for meaningful improvements and help create a supportive community environment.

We warmly invite new members who wish to contribute to enriching life at Hillel Lodge for all residents. Participation in Council meetings is open only to family and friends of residents, with the Director of Resident Experience present to ensure smooth operations.
