Infection Prevention and Control

Our infection control programs are designed to prevent, identify, and manage infections effectively. Staff adhere to strict hand hygiene protocols, and we encourage residents and visitors to do the same. Hand sanitizing stations are conveniently located at regular intervals throughout the hallways and near entrances to resident rooms.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies are readily available on the doors of residents who require additional precautions, ensuring staff can easily access necessary protective attire. Surgical masks are also provided for staff, residents, and visitors who choose to wear one. Families can request that staff wear masks while providing care, and a discreet symbol will be placed on the resident’s bedroom door to indicate this preference.

In the event of an outbreak, clear signage will be posted on the main entrance and neighborhood doors to alert staff and visitors.

We also prioritize resident health by offering all routine vaccinations, including ongoing COVID-19 vaccines, the annual influenza vaccine, and the RSV vaccine. Vaccine clinics for COVID-19 and influenza are held for both residents and team members in accordance with Public Health recommendations.
