Environmental Services
The Environmental Services, which include maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry, are provided by Marquise Hospitality – Compass Group. They deliver comprehensive services tailored to the unique needs of Hillel Lodge, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for both residents and staff.
Management and Technology
Dan Goyer, the Manager of Environmental Services from Compass Group, and his team are onsite at Hillel Lodge. The team utilizes state-of-the-art technology through WorxHub, a software solution specifically designed for senior living. This system enables the Environmental Services team to adopt a resident-focused approach by integrating request management, enhancing resident satisfaction, improving productivity, and facilitating effective time management.
Maintenance
Maintenance services encompass routine inspections, repairs, and general facility upkeep to promote safety and efficiency throughout the Lodge.
Housekeeping
The housekeeping department plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of residents' rooms, dining areas, and common spaces. To ensure a hygienic environment, the team adheres to strict infection prevention and control practices, meeting industry standards in all tasks.
Laundry
Laundry services are dedicated to cleaning residents' personal items promptly and returning them in excellent condition. In late 2024, Hillel Lodge invested in linens and towels and transitioned laundry services in-house through Compass Group. This ensures that linens and towels are hygienically cleaned and efficiently delivered, supporting the overall well-being of all residents.
The laundry team also provides in-house pickup and delivery services for resident laundry. They handle linens, towels, and bed coverings, while delicate fabrics and personal items requiring special care, such as dry cleaning and ironing, remain the responsibility of the resident or their designate. Additionally, a clothing labeling service is available to prevent any loss of personal items.
