The Bess and Moe Greenberg Family Hillel Lodge Long-Term Care Home of Ottawa (Hillel Lodge) has embraced the use of technology to benefit the quality of life of its residents. Guest Wi-Fi is available throughout the home free of charge to all residents and visitors.

Residents also have the option to contract dedicated Wi-Fi services for a low monthly fee of $15, significantly less than standard internet packages. Hillel Lodge provides basic technical support for connectivity issues and general inquiries related to the internet service during regular office hours.

In addition, the recreation team offers a program called Staying in Touch, wherein residents are set up with an iPad to have a visit with a family or friend virtually through FaceTime or Zoom.
