Join Our Community of Care
Volunteering at The Bess and Moe Greenberg Family Hillel Lodge Long-Term Care Home of Ottawa (Hillel Lodge) is more than just giving your time—it's about the connections you make, the purpose you find, and the joy you bring to others. Our volunteers are the heart of our community, enriching the lives of our residents through companionship, expertise, and dedication.
Guided by our credo, "Honour Thy Father and Thy Mother," we embrace the sacred responsibility of caring for our elders with dignity, respect, and love. Every day, volunteers embody this timeless value, discovering that in honouring our residents, we receive immeasurable gifts in return—meaningful relationships, the warmth of gratitude, and the privilege of becoming part of a community that truly feels like family.

Testimonials
"Entering the building and sensing the residents' excitement for a lively night of bingo fills us with joy. The palpable energy in the air, accompanied by laughter and chatter, creates an atmosphere of warmth and community. This feeling never gets old; it constantly reminds us of the meaningful connections formed through shared experiences. Each event is not just about the game, but about the joy of togetherness, the smiles exchanged, and the memories created. It's a heartwarming experience that reaffirms the importance of community and the impact of bringing people together for moments of fun and camaraderie."
